Bandipur tiger reserve.
Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 800, f10, 1/500, full frame image, handheld. This fellow just landed up in this ant hill and I was forced to handheld and shoot.

Excellent composition.
Lovely composition. The background hues are captivating and the rain drops look nice. Thanks for sharing.
Why f/10?

The rain drops and the clean background enhances the image. The perch and the sharpness is nice. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Bibhav,
The idea of increasing the aperture was to get more details in the perch as well as try to get a few rain drops covered. Ofcourse, for safety sake, I should have had a higher shutter speed.
