    Default Yellow Footed Green pigeon

Part of a Flock which regularly vists a Tree near my house on calicut out skirts, they are always on the upper branches of the Trees and hardly ever come down to the ground. In folklore it is belived that this bird loves the Trees so much that when it comes down to the ground for drink of water it holds a Twig in its Claws to feel at home. I did get some shots where the angle is less steep but there the colours in the eye donot quite stand out as in this pic.

Nice sighting. The eye contact and the colours are nice. You got it nicely between the leaves. I am not sure but is the focus locked on the leaves in the front? Do check the AF point. Thanks for sharing the information. Look forward to more.
