    Default More Pied Kingfisher :-)

Shot this today in the morning at Ranganathittu. Had been there early today and we were blessed with some good Pied Kingfisher images.
Also got to see Otters messing around with a Croc. The boatman said that Otters had not been seen there for the past 6 months and this was the first sighting since then. More on that later.

This is slightly cropped from the right and top.

    Canon EOS 1000D, 300 f/4 + 1.4x
    SS 1/640
    f/11
    ISO 400

    Comments and critiques welcome.

Lovely. Great compo. This pied KF shot appears more intimate than others I have seen. :-)

Lovely image Bibhav, you have framed the bird nicely within the V shape branch.
You seem to have a great time at Mysore.

Nice composition & shot. The yellowish streak on the left in the BG is bit distracting. Thanks for sharing.

Nice closeup. Agree with the above comments. Did you try a vertical? Nice to see you are making most of your job . Thanks for sharing.

The branch frames the image well. The out of focus tree at the left in the background attracts attention. Overall looks nice.

    Cheers,
