    Default Tahr Hermit.....

Tahrs are like hermits. They would like to sit on a rock and meditate for a long time. But female tahrs are not allowed nearby as this can disturb the meditation!

Nice habitat shot Sankar. You need to work on White Balancing, as the color of the Tahr is completely different.

Also Shankar can you mail me your email id and contact nos on praveen.siddannavar@kpitcummins.com. I need some info on Eravikulam NP & other places near Munnar. I will be in Munnar on family holiday from 14th Oct to 18th Oct'10.
    Thanks,

Default White balance set to cloudy

    Praveen thanks for your comments.

I usually use Digital Photo professional for PP.But the first photo in this thread I used Photoshop.I think one cannot change the whiite balance with Photoshop.

Now for this image I used Photo professional and set the white balance to cloudy.I hope this is more acceptable.

The repost look better than the original. The details and the colours look good. It is always better to use DPP or Lightroom to convert and modify the images than Photoshop. Thanks for sharing.

The repost looks better. Photoshop has more facilities and is actually designed for the digital artists. One can easily get lost in the tons of features. DPP and Lightroom are designed keeping in my the photographers needs and I think it is better to use these two.

I like the repost. Placing it slightly to the right would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
