What are the exif details? The details of shutter speed, aperture, ISO, lens, camera and amount of crop (if any) will help us in critiquing better.

In this case, the eye contact is fine. However, there is loss of details. A higher sharpness would have been good. Which place was this? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

The eye contact is nice. Lovely background. The image is only 94 kb. You can upload an image upto 300kb, so it will have more details. You could have used a narrower aperture. Some more sharpness would be good. Are you hand holding? A slight movement can also lower the sharpness. Do check. Look forward to more.
