Which metering did you use? Evaluative? Av or Tv?

Composition wise a vertical would have been better here instead of the square crop. Moving to the left would have helped in getting a better eye contact. How did you process your images? Did you pull up the fill light/shadow?

With the 100-400 lens, the less you crop, the better would be your images.

The perch is nice. I agree with the above comments. Could you get any more images with a slight more head turn towards you? You could have tried using a further narrower aperture. Do share your processing method. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Sir,
Generally I do not process the images. (unless and until,it is really necessary).Both the images are slightly trimmed.Clarity may not be their,probably I was too close to bird.There was no chance to move on left.
