This is a Crimson Rose butterfly (Atrophaneura hector).
I like the composition. Wish the out of focus flowers in the background were better concealed. Thanks for sharing.

Nice perch. I am not sure, but I think the focus is locked below the butterfly. Do check the AF point and confirm. The background is nicely diffused. The blacks look a bit underexposed, you can recover the details. Thanks for sharing.

It would have been better if you could have move a bit to the left, so that the leaves in the background could have been avoided as well as the dark patch in the left. However, it is not always apparent in the field. Especially when we feel that the butterfly may just fly away and moving left or right may not be easy. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.
