It is sad to hear that many of these "lesser known" creatures are being wiped out. If this trend continues unabated, then we may be left with a jungle with couple of tigers guarded by a big police force, and without any of the other inhabitants of the jungle. The intricate web or relationships among the many species is being smashed with no hope of recovery. Generations to come will pay the price for our follies.
