    Default cormorant flight

    Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary, Andhra Pradesh.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, 1/1600, f5.6, ISO 200, full frame image. Hurriedly processed. May be I could have increased the brightness a bit.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

The details are nice. However the tail near the frame edge and the space on the right doesn't work for me. The eye contact and the wing detail looks good. Thanks for sharing.

Nice flight shot, the details on wing are good along with eye contact. Some more space at right would have been better

    Bibhav,
I agree that more separation between the left frame edge and the tail of the bird would have been good. At the moment, though the tail is not cut, it appears as if it is cut.

The reason for this kind of composition is because I was trying to compose offcentre and used the left outer AF points. If the bird were placed slightly more to the right, then the head would have been in the centre. However, I agree that more separation between tail and frame edge would be better.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
