    Default Leopard (Male)#2/Bandipur

From the same series posted earlier Leopard (Male)#1/Bandipur - Indiawilds: Land of the Tiger. Conservation, Wildlife Photography, Communities
The previous image posted was shot using Canon 7D and 500m. This image is shot with Canon 40D & 100-400mm. The Leopard was too close about 20 or so mts, by using 100-400mm I managed to get him in full. Shot this late evening under extreme low light.

Camera Model Canon EOS 40D, 100-400mm
    Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/30
    Av( Aperture Value ) 5.6
    ISO 1600
    Focal length 285mm

I am so happy watching leopard images. Serene moment. Wish the light was better for f8 and a higher shutter speed. The background has come out well. It shows the slight clearing within the bushes for the leopard to vanish if there is any threat or disturbance. Thanks for sharing.

Very relaxed pose. Nice eye contact. Looks like a quite healthy male. Nice sharpness even with 1/40 shutter speed. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

He looks very relaxed. I still wonder why on Earth did WE have the luck of sighting him sleeping on the ground right in the middle of tiger territory!! haha..great shot sir
