Beautiful Picture, the blurred leaves in the background are creating impression of flowing water in small circles
Rajan,
Good one. Difficult to get these little ones. It would have been nice if a branch would not have crossed behind the bird. However, one has no control over it. Often cars act as a good hide for these birds.

thats lovely image, Nicely timed shot
Interesting capture. I am wondering how the "light whorls" were created in the background of the image. It adds to the personality of the image a lot. Technically the subject is well placed. Perhaps changing your position would have given you some interesting line of shooting.
For handheld, it has come out decently. I am glad you were not using the TC though!
Overall an interesting image with thought provoking background.
Just to reconfirm, this photograph was taken through the windos glass of a car or you had lowered your window glass here?

Shot from within the car with the glass lowered. I am wondering about the background too, for all i did on the original was to export to web for a smaller footprint (under 200K).
