Arjun,
When you point your camera upwards, the straight lines seem to angle and converge at the top. You can use this fact to be creative with your images. For example stand below trees and point your camera upwards and you will find that the trees from all around you are converging at the top. It will create an interesting pattern.
Coming back to your image, it gives us an idea about tall trees. Photographing it a bit early in the morning would have been great, as the Sun would have been a bit less hot. The colours would have been warmer (kind of orange) and it would have looked better. Keep on experimenting.
