    Default Tigeress

    Dear All,
More from the Roadblock series, Young Tigress (Apparently Kankatti's sister) from the A-C Route of the Bandhavgarh National Park, gets up from the road to walkaway into the thicket.

    EOS 50D+300 f4 L @ f8, 1/320, ISO 800, bean bag support.

    Look forward to comments.

    Cheers
    Dipankar

I like the angle and the composition. Wish the dark tree was not directly behind the tigress. I would like to tweak the white balance a bit and lower the colour temperature. A round of sharpening will make this shine. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Wow! Lovely image, the vertical frame works well here. The tigress seems annoyed of something, agree with Sabyasachi's comments.
Not sure when I will make it to B'garh

Nice pose captured. The eye contact and the details are good. Did you sight Kankatti? I had heard a lot about her, but didn't get to photograph her. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Sabyasachi about around of sharpness. Otherwise, quite a nice shot..but personally, I prefer just a bit more space towards the left because the tigress is looking a little diagonally and not dead straight towards you.
