    Default Lonely sunset..

    It was taken at last year..Of my hometown, simple and pure sunset..
    Well I am Thinking to Use B/W in this image due to lonely sunset..
    what you all thinking...?? look different??

    Nice serene feel to the image. I liked the ripples in the water. The colours add to the composition. I feel the b/w version wont be able to get that effect as it is presently seen with the different shades of orange. You can post the b/w version and we can compare. Thanks for sharing.

    The b/w composition looks nice, but I prefer the colour one in this case. Also you can crop a bit from the top as the sky doesn't add much to the image. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree that the colour version, though a bit over in terms of saturation, looks better than the black and white. For a black and white image to succeed, there has to be either strong shapes, forms, textures, contrast etc.

    The sky looks empty, without any clouds or any flying birds etc. The colours try to fill up the sky a bit, so in the black and white version it becomes obvious that the sky needs to be reduced.
