Default Great Tit | JLR bandipur

Shot this guy late in the afternoon just before the safari, from inside the GOL GHAR (dining place). It was raining and the all the openings around the place were covered with curtains...had to manage shooting this active bird through a very small aperture- the result being that the composition does not make me too happy. Sharing it though, because I loved the antics of this guy

Nice for a record shot. You could have pushed the ISO to 1600 for a higher shutter speed. Would have made more noise, but worth it for better sharpness.

Nice to this Tit hanging, wish the light was better. For such small birds you really need a higher shutter speed 1/800 or so.

You captured it nicely in the given conditions. Nice pose. Do check the AF point I think it might be locked on the leaf. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm..no Mrudul. I checked it before posting. The AF got locked on the right side of the leaf you are talking of, on the back region of the bird and it was deliberate because there was no other option. Still, not a very satisfying image...would have been nice if I could have kept the AF on the face.

Good effort. It would have been great if the light was falling directly on the bird. Slight head turn would have been even better. Keep on trying. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,
