Oriental White eye

A slightly noisey picture, but the fleeting glimpse of this little one was too tempting and it presented just one chance for a snap. I wanted to experiment with the 100-400 but before i could get the other camera out, it was gone . . .

40D, Sigma APO 150-500 OS, F6.4, 1/250 Shutter, ISO 800.

Very pleasing colors here. The bird is exactly at the centre of the frame..an off-centred compsition will be better with more space to the right. On a side note, the 100-400 would have surely done better here

Nice perch and eye contact. The colours and the clean background adds to the image. Slight less space on the left would have been good. Thanks for sharing.
