Default Portrait: Asian Paradise-Flycatcher, Female. (Terpsichore paradise).

This picture has been taken, when bird has come for drinking water. Image is cropped and bg is blurred in Photoshop to remove distracting spots.

Nice looking bird. The image appears to be slightly oversharpened to me. Good that you mentioned that BG blurring has been done; personally, I avoid doing it. It is always better to keep experimenting with angles/position from which you shoot the bird over a period of time rather than rely on digital tools. In this image, the blur amount seems to be quite a lot seeing the artifacts.

Lovely bird. The perch and the eye contact is nice. I agree reducing the amount of sharpening done would be good. Also a proportional crop would look good. Please do post the original without the cloning. Thanks for sharing.
