Default cooling towers soaked in sun

this image is from one of our power stations called bellary thermal power station near Bellary. This image was taken around 6.45pm. The towers are called cooling towers used to cool the water.

lightly edited in picasa to give dramatic effect.

Nice silhouette. Reducing the saturation would be good. The hills in the background look nice. Thanks for sharing.

In photography form of the subject is important. The simplest of forms, especially in silhouette conditions makes for dramatic imagery. The steam looks nice. It would have been even better if the Sun was a little less bright.

Just a precaution: Ofcourse, you were shooting using a point and shoot camera. With SLR/DSLR cameras one shouldn't look through the lens towards the sun.

    Cheers,
