I love the symmetry of both the birds. I can see that you have an eye for photography. My suggestion is be patient. Don't use the digital zoom. Try to move as close as possible without disturbing the birds.

Which is your nearest birding spot? Your optical zoom is 380 mm. Wait for big birds like painted storks or other storks and wait for them to spread their wings.
