Nice image. A catchlight in the eye would have been great. Frontal lighting would have been nice. What focal length did you click this? How much crop?
It is good that you got it without vegetation blocking it. Thanks for sharing.

Cute bird. Agree with the above comments. You could have used a slight narrower aperture to get more details as you had sufficient shutter speed. I would have liked a more rectangular framing than a square one. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sabyasachiji.... agree with your comment regarding direction of light, it was shot from a fixed point and no other access was possible...shot with 400 mm focal length....a big crop though.....
Mrudulji...I have done a rectangular compo only with 800 x 600 mm...I have a square compo also with the bird facing towards my lens...if u wish, I can also post the same...

I am viewing the image on my mobile phone, so will refrain from making suggestions. However, 900 x 600 is a proper rectangular frame and 800 x 600 is more squarish.
