1. First step read your manual and check the minimum focussing distance. I am not sure what is the closest focussing distance of your camera.
2. It has a 10X digital zoom. I suspect in most of your shots you are using the 5x digital zoom. Remember, digital zoom is nothing but cropping in the camera a part of your image taken. So quality suffers.
3. I don't know how much you have further cropped in the software (I see that you have used Nero photosnap). It just reduces the quality and increases pixelation.
I see that you have lot of interest, and you can develop into a good photographer, if you are patient and try to operate within the limitations of your camera.
Any camera has limitations. I use a professional Canon EOS 1D Mark II. It also has limitations. The secret is to understand its limitations and use within that. Mail me the full image. I would like to see and give suggestions.
