Nice that you got it perched on the dry twigs. A year or two back when I used to go to Hasserghatta, we could sight these on the mounts, that was a very good perch. The head turn and the eye contact is nice. The narrow aperture has helped here to get more DOF. Nice catch light. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. I agree with Praveen. Keep on going to the same place and you are likely to get something. You need to check the depth of field and decide on the focus point. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image Prashant. The feather pattern on its back looks very nice. The head turn and the eye contact is also well captured. the twigs below resemble a nest. Was it hunting?

Thank you for your comments and feedback. The twigs were lying around just like that and this bird decided to check it out for a while. No, it was not hunting.
