    Default Digging for Gold!!!

Saw this eurasian golden oriole in my backyard a couple of weeks back. The bird seemed to be busy digging its beak into its body and feathers. With the economy soaring up and gold getting expensive maybe the bird was thinking of selling some assests!!!!

    Nikon D3100, F/5.6, SS 1/60, ec +.3,focal length 300mm.

Lovely sighting. Nice preening pose. Yes to photograph this bird . The shutter speed was quite less. What was the ISO? Thanks for sharing.

With increased advalorem duties in the Union Budget, gold is costly. So gold digging is definitely lucrative. I think a longer focal length would have given more details. Thanks for sharing.

I realised much later that I goofed up with the exposure. The bird was relatively close but I didnt check the shutter settings . I am sure the oriole would return sometime soon and hope to catch it again.

Mrudul: The ISO was also less 100, and I goofed up with the exposure
