The preening pose is nice. Difficult lighting conditions. Wish the bark directly behind the bird was not present. Thanks for sharing.

The tree trunk has come out well. Well seen. I agree that without the tree stump behind the bird, the image would have been better. Also, if the light would have been from behind you, then the image would have been strengthened. Where was this? It would be good if you can go back to the same place someother time to see a different bird and composition. Thanks for sharing.
