Indian Bull Frog

Dear All,

A Bull frog amongst the lilies in a village pool from the Raigad district, Maharashtra. Couldn't resist getting my clothes dirty to catch the expressive eyes of this individual (regardless of the Mrs making dire threats in the background..!!!).

EOS 50D + 70-200 f4 IS L @ f6.3, 1/250, ISO 500

Nice composition. The low angle and the leaf over its head add extra interest to the image. The eyes look good. Nice details. Worth dirtying your clothes . Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Ignoring orders from Mrs for a frog! Wow!

This is a very nice image Dipankar!

You got a very nice low angle. So the background is nicely out of focus. The leaves enhances the composition a lot. Slightly more space at the bottom to get the tip would have strengthened the composition. Some more depth of field would have also further enhanced the image. Overall, I like this image a lot. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely shot! Agree with Sabyasachi's critique. The reflections look lovely, and the low angle totally makes this image for me. Toning down the highlights would be good (or is it my monitor???)
