Nice sighting of a Rat snake. Last time 2 months, when I visited that area, I saw one passing, but it was too fast and couldn't take any photograph. The eye contact is good. Just a bit more space on the left would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a rat snake - friend of farmers as it helps in containing the rat population. It becomes difficult to get the entire snake in focus when it is moving away. A lower angle would have been great. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see the rat snake. Large round eyes with yellow border look nice. It is very swift and focussing the full body is difficult.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Sabyasachi Patra: thought of getting down from the vehicle and take ground level shot but it was so fast and by the time i get down it went far from me and went inside the hole.
