    Default Nilgiri Tahr Face off.....

    Around 800 tahrs are roaming the Eravkulam NP.It seems good conservation efforts are paying off in keeping the Tahrs from extinction.Here is proof of less man-animal conflict as this Tahr is standing right in the middle of the road.Of course with face turned the other way to give itself a soothing lick....
