I like the image. I might be tempted to crop a bit from the top and left... Was it possible to move in closer?
BTW: did you upgrade the 50D firmware? I somehow felt that there is a pinkish cast to the image. I think there was a problem with the 50D relating to that.

Nice image. The bird on the bush forms a triangular composition. Image is sharp. Eye contact is good. There is enough space to place some text.
