The pose of the bird is nice. The use of the crop helps in that regard. The catchlight is nice. I would prefer toning down the highlights on the perch a bit. Overall this is nice. Looks like a bushchat female to me. Someone Please Confirm!

I remember this one. She was swinging from one side to the other. The catch light is nice. Background is nicely diffused, except for the one branch at the bottom. Good that it is below the bird.

This is a good photograph of a pied bush chat female.
IMHO a slightly closer crop would have been better as the image looks sharp enough to me.
