A bit more space below would have been nicer. The light is nice. Did you try with ISO 400 and 1/100 shutter speed?

Good to see a wild dog with kill. Not had the chance to photograph this still. Liked the alert pose. The backlit hair looks nice. Agree about some more space below. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image, agree with Bibhav some more space at the bottom would have been nice. Did you see the actual kill? When was this in Bandipur, since I had couple of sightings of a pack 7 dholes on 30th Dec'09.

I agree with the previous comments. A little bit more space at the bottom would have been good, as the portion of the kill is very close to the bottom frame. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for your comments.
This was shot on Dec 10th. I think the kill was done previous day. It was early morning we set out for safari. We were almost returning back without any sightings dissapointed, suddenly this dog emerged from bushes and saw the carcass being enjoyed by another hawk eagle. This dog approached the eagle but eagle was successful in chasing this dog out then this dog brought another friend and these both picked up the meal and ran into the bushes. Whole drama happened in duration of 20 minutes. Wonderful memory.
I tried with ISO 400 but the pictures came out blur as a reason I had to mark up ISO. I was trying to get as low as possible without getting off the jeep to get straight eye contact.

    Thanks

    Exclamation

I like the backlight passing thru the hair in the ears.
