    A beautiful bird. Wish you had composed this using an offcentred composition. The open beak with the extended tongue is interesting. Was it possible to avoid the stick in the background?

    Nice clean perch. The open beak is interesting. I think there is some noise in the image, probably it got enhanced due to opening of the shadows during PP. I don't mind the stick in the background, but some less space on left would have enhanced the composition further.

    Beautiful bird. Its a male. Good to know that this is a full frame image.

    Unfortunately, the light was from behind the subject. The shutter speed of 1/250 is also low for these fast birds. Try shooting a series of shots in a burst. One of those is likely to be sharper than others.

    Also, you may try using a higher ISO. Noise will be there. However, I won't mind it to get a sharper image. Look forward to more.
