The composition is nice. The branches frame it well. Lovely colours. No nits. Thanks for sharing.
The nits - the throat area is a bit burnt out due to the harsh mid day sun

I like the branch. Lowering the colour temperature will help the bright areas. You can experiment with slightly lower contrast. Look forward to more.

Wow! this is nice Nikhilesh, I am yet to see this black caped KF
have you shot these at R'thittu?
Nice compo, the colours look good too. TFS.
Praveen: These are found along the coast, so you wouldn't find one at Ranganthittu... (Unless of course it is lost )
Good photograph of one more Kingfisher. I like the composition and catch light.
Nikhilesh, TFS.
Nice composition and colours. The perch is nice. I agree lowering the colour temperature will help. The eye contact is nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice composition. lesser contrast will add more effect. depth is in correct ratio
The series of Kingfishers are from Bhitarakanika, the mangrove forests in orissa.
Bhitarakanika has a total of 8 species of Kingfishers ( 7 resident and 1 migratory), and I managed to see and photograph 6 of the species.
