    Seems they were quite close to you. The curled trunk and the raised foot is nice. Liked the way she is guarding the calf. I would add a bit more space on top from the bottom. Thanks for sharing.

    This is truly a Mother's Day (9.5.2010) special from Praveen.Nice compostion and sharp image.The animals look very ralaxed.

    Nice moment captured, seems cramped,more space around would have enhanced the composition, if this was the only option you had probably more space at the top and eliminating negative space at the bottom would have enhanced the composition

    Thanks for comments, agree about the space, the Elephants were very close and I was with 100-400, the shortest i could shoot is at 100mm. However I should composed it with more space at top on field itself, nothing can be done now in PP.

    Good to see a mother and calf elephants. You are very close. Did the elephant make a charge? The ballooned stomach can indicate its going to run.
