    Default Dreamscape Elephant

The Out of focus foliage at the bottom gave a feeling that it was an elephant in a dream, hence the title. This was shot in Kabini

    Full Frame image.

The ears look nice. I would have preferred less of the foliage in the foreground as it diverts attention. The details are nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul. I have images with less foreground from this series. However those didnt leave room for the virtual feet.
Hence chose to post this one.

    Bibhav,
The eye contact is fine. The image appears sharp. However, I think it would have been good if you could have clicked the elephant two paces before the present position. That would have ensured the elephant's eyes and head in the position where the lantana bushes are at the lowest height (bottom end of the imaginary V formed by lantana). In the present image, the lantana rises very close to the eye. So that is a kind of distraction, despite the good eye contact.

I don't give much importance to the so called "virtual feet" concept which people talk off in the online forums. You can decide to create an image with body parts "cut off" and still make it pleasing. It is better to ensure that cutoff line at the joints, so that the viewer understands it to be a deliberate affair.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
