Great that you could get them mating. The light is a little too harsh. The composition looks fine to me. The image appears a bit soft.

Nice behaviour captured. In Ranganathittu, the gate opens late and invariably the light gets harsh. You need to expose keeping in mind the whites are not blown.

Lucky you could photograph them mating. The wing spread is nice. You could have bumped up the ISO, to get a higher shutter speed. The background is nice. Thanks for sharing.
