    Default Elephant charges at jeep

This elephant was grazing with her cub and had slowly come within a few feet of our jeep in bandipur. Then a tourist jeep came from the opposite direction. Another tourist jeep came and slowly parked by our side. The elephant immediately felt that her path is blocked. She was comfortable with our jeep. So she immediately turned and charged at the other jeep which was about 50 feet away. I clicked the moment she turned and charged.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, 70mm, f20, 1/50, full frame image.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice behaviour captured. The jeep in the background tells what would have happened. Is the elephant a sub-adult male? Thanks for sharing.

I like the composition. How come f/20?
Works very well as an image to show how we cause stress to animals in their habitats.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Thumbs up

I see the Parthenium or Congress Weed has covered the entire the floor in the forest areas and it is not a good sign. This weed can cause respiratory and skin irritation both for humans and animals.

It is not a weak elephant and normal only. Wild elephants don't like humans. Isn't it?

You can plant trees but cannot create forests
