Brilliant...!!!! Its not easy to get the correct exposure on pied subjects, you have done outstandingly well !!!
Also i though you have come close enough to the bird without disturbing it, it looks more like a 500f4+1.4x image rather than a 300f4+1.4x image...!! kudos to you for that as well.
