    Default Woolly Necked Stork/Joida

We were trekking in Joida forest & suddenly I saw a pair of Woolly Necked Stork, shot this hand held. Probably missed the focus on the bird

Nice shot Praveen through the twigs. The eyes look good. The downwing stroke looks nice. The background looks a bit grainy for an ISO 400 shot. How much of a crop is this?

I think he had no time to check the settings and fired the moment these birds took flight. So the image may have been underexposed and a bit of noise due to that. The eye and wings suggest that the focus is nearly there. The downstroke of the wings look good. I agree that if the intervening branches were not there, the image would have looked better.

    Cheers,
