Shooting against the light is always a problem. This needs at least a half stop more of exposure. I guess you shot this from the boat as the angle seems straight up.

Udai,
When you are shooting up, it is tough to get the entire bird in focus as it is not parallel to your image plane. Also the head angle is never right. I wish you get one in good light soon.
