Nice perch and well controlled exposure. But seeing the high shutter speed, I feel you could have easily used a narrow aperture like f7.1/8 Also, after taking some images from this angle, you could have moved to the right and hoped for a headturn in any direction so that light would have fallen on the eye..tfs

Nice perch and eye contact. I agree with Bhargava, about the narrow aperture. Moving to the right would have also helped to get the eye in light. the vertical composition looks nice. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Nice pose. Here you are facing the shadow side of the birds head. I agree that moving to the other side would have helped in getting the lovely red eye shining in the sunlight. However, I am not sure if you could have moved without disturbing the bird. Thanks for sharing.
