Good News Abhishek.After I came to know that Sathyamangalam-Moyasegur Sanctuary/Forest Area has been identified and recommended by NTCA to State Govt.(TN) to put up the formal proposal before NTCA for declaring it as a TIGER RESERVE, I was awaiting latest news about the Sanctuary. We are happy to read update posted by you and hope that Tamil Nadu Govt.will now be fully satisfied and put up formal proposal before NTCA and necessary formalities will be completed so that it could be declared as a Tiger Reserve.

Though WII have reported in the latest Census Report published in March,2011 about 20% increase in Tiger Population over 2005 census figure,reported loss of habitat is of serious concern and more Tiger Habitats have to be brought under Tiger Reserves category ,so that viable population is maintained and the Tiger corridors and Tigers are not lost for ever.
