Loved the image quality of 400mm f5.6 lens. This lens rocks with manual focus, auto-focus is very quick. Have attached 100% crop.

The composition is nice. The clean background looks good. Nicely exposed. On the cropped image, have you done any noise reduction? Thanks for sharing.

    Atul,
Congratulations on the 400 f5.6 L USM lens. It is a very fine lens. Easily handholdable. The quality is good. One can easily see the difference between this lens and the sigma zoom lenses that people use.

Any thing within the range of this lens is good. So try approaching as close as possible for your intended composition. Look forward to more.

By the way, where is this Mula river?

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Thanks Mrudul, Sabyasachi and Shaktipada. Mrudul, haven't done any special noise reduction in the 100% cropped image although have done a slight noise reduction for the complete image as a part of the workflow.

Sabyasachi, Mula is a tributary of the Bhima River in Deccan India. It passes through the towns of Pune and Khadki. This river origins from Mulshi Dam near Pune-India. Biologists have recorded 108 species of fish, 102 flowering plant species, 130 bird species in and around the river and surrounding areas.

    Regards,
    Atul
