Nice eye contact. Overall, a good image. However, compositionally, more space at the top might be better. Also, I'm thinking if it would have been better to use a higher ISO to facilitate a narrower aperture.

Looks like Hemidactylus sataraensis, had seen an image similar to the one you have photographed not sure though. The eye contact is nice. Agree a higher ISO would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

I got the ID its Called Lacertid lizard member of Skinks lizards, skinks (Scincidae), cordylids or sungazers (Cordylidae), plated lizards, zonosaurs and relatives (Gerrhosauridae) and tegus and racerunners (Teiidae), plus the lesser known night lizards (Xantusiidae) and dibamids (Dibamidae) etc..etc..
I agree with the previous comments. More space at the top and you lowering yourself while shooting for a lower perspective would have been great. Thanks for sharing.
