Nice Photograph.Well composed,Natural Colours, habitat well documented. In differenent parts of India ,Colour varies. Is it a Migratory Bird or a Resident ?
With so many nice Birds being Photographed from Gwalior, Dr. Kakati, I am hoping on you, Shivpuri will be Tiger Heaven again. Indeed one tiger strayed from Ranthambhore. Many Tigers of Record sizes have been shot there in the name of Sport !
Thanks for sharing SaktiWild

Nice composition. The diffused BG compliments the image.
Saktipada,
Thanks for that info about shivpuri. I never knew there were tigers there!

I like the composition. I might argue for a better head angle but that would have forfeited the catchlight from the eye. So this works well. Nice clean background and perch. Thanks for sharing.
Nice compo and the BG is smooth. Nice one.

I agree with the previous comments. The composition is fine. The catchlight in the eye looks good. The background is nicely diffused. The more closer you are to the subject, the better details you will find. Thanks for sharing.
