    Default Black Ibis

    Hi,

Shot this one in Pune. It was continuously on the move feeding itself in the field.
This was shot on 8th october along the coast of river Mula. Unfortunately never saw the bird again there.

    Please critique.

Nice Image. Well composed.Colours, habitat appear Natural. A Black-headed Ibis,a different species(Threskiornis melanocephalus) was preyed upon in full view of tourists by the Tiger in the Sundarbans. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice habitat photograph. The pose and the eye contact is nice. Slight less space in the foreground would be good. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. Nice image. One can see parthenium in the image. Not to be surprised as parthenium was first reported from Maharashtra, when the parthenium seeds mixed with wheat came to India.

Watching a tiger catch an ibis would rate among one of the finest moments. How lucky those tourists would be.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the comments. There are lots of parthenium in this area.

It certainly would have been treat for tourists to watch tiger catch an ibis. Shaktipada, did anyone film the action?

    Atul,

Nice habitat portrayed. The bird has been exposed well. Is there slight motion blur?

Yeah, there is a slight motion blur as the bird was walking quite fast.
