    Default Montagu's Harrier #1 (Female)

She was miles away & feeding on a Grass Hopper, to ensure she doesn't fly we shot her from a distance.

Nice sighting. Lovely perch and eye contact. Reducing the sharpening a bit would be good. I liked the swaying grass, gives a nice feel of the habitat. Thanks for sharing.

I like the composition. Nice habitat all around...this image is better on anyday than all the tight close up images we see so often! I'm thinking this image would have been nicer without the green patch on the top left corner...

Very nice Praveen. The environment makes this image for me. Love the pose too. Wondering whether +0.3 was necessary here?

Wish you were closer. The eye contact and cropped composition is nice. The swaying grass looks good. Thanks for sharing.

    Bhargava,
Closer doesn't mean tight compositions. When one is closer to the subject there are many options to compose without cropping. The resultant file can than be printed or used.

    Cheers,
