    Default Purple Take off

    Purple Heron - Take off

A very early morning shot of a purple heron at Mangalajodi. The light was bad throughout the day because of the depression in the bay of bengal.

Nice take off pose. The upward stroke of the wings looks nice. The flying water drops add to the image. What was the ISO? Is this a full frame? I would have liked a bit more space at the top. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with the spacing Mrudul, although this is a near full frame shot i had no option of more space on top as i clicked it with some inaccurate judgement, judging the space in that light was really tough. Got only 2 shots at 1200 ISO.

A bit more brightness would have looked better. Nice wingspread.

I was working on some retouch and re-editing work and thought to give this is a try. Let me know if it works this time.
