Nice image of Gouri and her cub.Composition looks fine. The little child is oblivious of what is happening around it.It has left it to the mother. And hence the protective mother's head turn. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice walking pose & head turn captured.Nice that u got both mother & cub(cross tail) in the same frame.Where were the other 3 cubs?

Very nice pic and equally good comments!Saktiji and Surajji identified the tigers with ease!
I have read about the tragic story of Broken tail, which was run over by a train. It made sad reading. Here I dont know why the cub is named cross tail?

Lovely image, a tender moment.Great eye contact and compo.Loved the expression on the tigress, the eyes in particular.

Nice image of the famous gouri and her cub. The sunlight on the body looks nice and it seems to be enhancing the feel of the image. The stripes seem a bit dark, any contrast settings or is it natural? Thanks for sharing.
Nice scene. The stare is nice and the light on the face looks lovely. It looks a bit too contrasty to my taste, maybe reducing the contrast a little and opening up the shadows a tad might make this even better.
Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Happy that this tiger post/so called contrast issue could make our members wake up and comment.
Murugan and Bibhav,
I hardly change the overall feel of the situation. The scene was pretty dark in patches and was getting bright as the Sun was filtering through the branches. The scene was changing as the tiger was moving between shadow and partially lit areas.
No change in colour temperature, so you can know the scene. No changes in black point. Medium contrast. Shadows pulled up by +7. Highlights pulled up a bit as well.
Can you find clipping of blacks?

Bhai Bibhav,
The wordings like 'to my taste' are very strong .They hurt us also.We may refrain from such usage.
Kind regards,
