birds do come nearer when the sky is overcast & dark. this one visited me this morning when down pouring had just stopped & i clicked it with 7D, 100-400mm, f/5.6, 1/200, iso 4000, fl 400mm, spot AF & AV mode. C&C welcome.

Cute bird. Nice eye contact. Good that you could sight it so near. Quite a interesting observation, that the birds come closer if the sky is overcast. I never observed this . Thanks for sharing.
