A wider composition would have been nice, as the body parts are cut off.
Eravikulam national park is just one habitat of the Tahrs. There are many ranges where these tahrs are found. Unfortunately, due to human settlements coming up and due to cutting of trees, cultivation the linkages between the various peaks are cutoff. So the Tahr habitat is shrinking.

Nice to see this young tahrs. Agree about some more space at the bottom. It is good to know that atleast in Eravikulam national park they are doing well. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image Sankar.I feel both the Tahrs are not in focus, not sure if its my monitor. Agree including the Tahrs in full would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.
Nice that you got them in the same frame,zooming out a bit(if not @ 55mm)would have been good including its legs.
